LET’S LEARN TO SEW: LEARN ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Are you ready to take your sewing machine skills to the next level? Our hands-on sewing class, designed for beginning sewist, is just the thing to help you reach your creative potential. You’ll learn valuable information to keep you sewing confidently, from maintaining accurate seam allowances to understanding grain lines and proper pinning techniques.

 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

During this sewing class, you’ll not only master sewing curves and corners, but also effortlessly create machine-made buttonholes, and sew on a flat button to complete a small project. It’s an exciting opportunity to expand your skillset and create something truly beautiful.

WHAT TO BRING 

A smile and a positive attitude always….

All materials, including the sewing machine, are provided for this class. However, you may bring your own sewing machine, power cord, foot pedal, one bobbin wound with any color sewing thread, presser feet, scissors, straight pins with pincushion, and instruction book.

SEWING MACHINE 

We will use the Baby Lock Jubliant machine for practice for those without a sewing machine. 

SEWING SUPPLIES 

We’ll provide any other necessary supplies. Before attending, could you brush up on your threading and machine operation skills? If not, no worries we will briefly review machine mechanics.  You can do it!!!

 FINISHED PRODUCT

A quick project will be completed during the course. Not all students will complete the project during the sewing class.

Classes start on AUGUST 3, 2024, from 1 to 5 p.m. They will be held at

HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS AND SUITES Conference Room, 236 Gateway Blvd, Brunswick GA
